When Ersin Tümerkan came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Cakirlar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ersin Tümerkan couldn't finish the play. Ersin Tümerkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Cumali Kutulmuş notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ABBASLARSPOR's Erhan İlkay. Erhan İlkay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Erhan İlkay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ersin Tümerkan's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After 12 played minutes Cakirlar got a freekick which was hit by Erdi Yıldırımtürk. After a rather tough play, ABBASLARSPOR's Birdal Deren got a free kick in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ersin Tümerkan in the 20th minute of play forced ABBASLARSPOR's goalkeeper Erhan İlkay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ersin Tümerkan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erhan İlkay was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 26 minutes into the game, Cakirlar's Özmen Oktan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erhan İlkay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The referee gave Cakirlar a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vahdet Hasret, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ABBASLARSPOR's Erhan İlkay. 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ersin Tümerkan in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erhan İlkay saved ABBASLARSPOR from getting behind. Cumali Kutulmuş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erhan İlkay having to interfere. When Birdal Deren came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the ABBASLARSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birdal Deren couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Ersin Tümerkan made the kick off in the second half. Erhan İlkay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ersin Tümerkan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 51 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ersin Tümerkan got free with Erhan İlkay in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute, Ersin Tümerkan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erhan İlkay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in ABBASLARSPOR's zone, Erdi Yıldırımtürk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erhan İlkay came out of the goal and Erdi Yıldırımtürk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ersin Tümerkan came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Cakirlar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ersin Tümerkan couldn't finish the play. If Cumali Kutulmuş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ABBASLARSPOR booed when Cakirlar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erdi Yıldırımtürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ersin Tümerkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erhan İlkay having to interfere. ABBASLARSPOR's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Vahdet Hasret 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. Erhan İlkay was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Vahdet Hasret capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vahdet Hasret really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. When Cakirlar's Ersin Tümerkan in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ABBASLARSPOR's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the ABBASLARSPOR defense, Ersin Tümerkan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erhan İlkay. The ABBASLARSPOR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erhan İlkay should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Ersin Tümerkan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erhan İlkay was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Cakirlar's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
