Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mehmet Şefik Sağcan took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th match minute, BalıkesirSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korhan Köklem to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Gürcan Uçma managed to get in a good position for a shot. BalıkesirSpor's supporters rose to their feet, but Gürcan Uçma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sadri Kutertan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bülent Erseç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Sadri Kutertan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sadri Kutertan came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by BalıkesirSpor's Yavuz Bülent Ehlimen. But to his dismay, Yavuz Bülent Ehlimen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 31st match minute, BalıkesirSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Okanalp Bedel to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute of the match İlhami Direnç shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aykut Çetinalp showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Yavuz Bülent Ehlimen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Ankaraalper booed when BalıkesirSpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naim Baydak didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Yavuz Bülent Ehlimen hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, BalıkesirSpor's Mustafa Bucuklu got a free kick in the 57th minute. Sadri Kutertan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bülent Erseç in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, BalıkesirSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Şefik Sağcan came free, but Aykut Çetinalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Şefik Sağcan in the 72nd minute of play forced BalıkesirSpor's goalkeeper Aykut Çetinalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bülent Erseç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, BalıkesirSpor's Okanalp Bedel got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 79 minutes, Mustafa Bucuklu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BalıkesirSpor and the Ankaraalper players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mustafa Bucuklu hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the game, İlhami Direnç recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aykut Çetinalp. İlhami Direnç showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After 85 minutes, Naim Baydak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BalıkesirSpor and the Ankaraalper players grew even worse after the yellow card. Naim Baydak hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ankaraalper's zone, Gürcan Uçma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sadri Kutertan came out of the goal and Gürcan Uçma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd play minute Peyami Ulucağ came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aykut Çetinalp. 1-3. Ankaraalper played a much better game than BalıkesirSpor and deserved their victory. The BalıkesirSpor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
