Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Halil Akçınar made the kick off and thus started the match. Arif Oğuz Avcı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doğuş Yaygır, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Doğuş Yaygır came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the GALATASARAY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doğuş Yaygır couldn't finish the play. GALATASARAY's Onurhan Temircan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY from getting a goal against them. Halil Akçınars short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Onurhan Temircan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 21 minutes into the match, Tethys FC's goal looked a bit too open when Şanver Ergüven came free, but Arif Oğuz Avcı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes, Selçuk Muharrem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GALATASARAY and the Tethys FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arif Oğuz Avcı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merih Kayrahan in the 33rd minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Tethys FC's goal looked a bit too open when Doğuş Yaygır came free, but Arif Oğuz Avcı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Merih Kayrahan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Oğuz Avcı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şanver Ergüven in the 42nd minute of play forced Tethys FC's goalkeeper Arif Oğuz Avcı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Tethys FC's goal looked a bit too open when Merih Kayrahan came free, but Arif Oğuz Avcı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After 51 minutes, Oğuz Necmi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tethys FC and the GALATASARAY players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tethys FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Oğuz Necmi hit a great ball. Doğuş Yaygır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Oğuz Avcı having to interfere. In the 54th match minute, Tethys FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oğuz Necmi to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute of the match Mirza Selil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arif Oğuz Avcı showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Merih Kayrahan scored 0-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arif Oğuz Avcı, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Halil Akçınar in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Onurhan Temircan saved GALATASARAY from getting behind. Merih Kayrahan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Arif Oğuz Avcı made a huge save. Arif Oğuz Avcı was a little too slow when Doğuş Yaygır got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-3. GALATASARAY's Onurhan Temircan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halil Akçınar in the 69th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Halil Akçınar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Onurhan Temircan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Onurhan Temircan came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Tethys FC's Halil Akçınar. But to his dismay, Halil Akçınar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When Şemsettin Çolak fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tethys FC's protests and gave Şemsettin Çolak a yellow card for diving instead. Baran Alp Durualp charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baran Alp Durualp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tethys FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Baran Alp Durualp hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Halil Akçınar in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Onurhan Temircan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Şanver Ergüven hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The GALATASARAY supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GALATASARAY would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
