Bilge Kağan Hedef received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Osman Hızlı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bilge Kağan Hedef in the 5th minute of play forced Ovacik's goalkeeper Osman Hızlı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FeNerBahçeM's zone, İlhan Daman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İzzet Budak came out of the goal and İlhan Daman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osman Hızlı didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bilge Kağan Hedef went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 21st match minute, FeNerBahçeM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Ferit Taçkın to maneuver through the defense. İzzet Budak made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when İlhan Daman sent off a good shot on target. Necaettin Tura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. İzzet Budak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The long shot by Hazar Diclehan in the 36th minute really tested İzzet Budak's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 41st minute Necaettin Tura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İzzet Budak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for İlhan Daman to strike the kick off in the second half. İzzet Budak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlhan Daman in the 52nd minute of play. When İlhan Daman came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Ovacik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İlhan Daman couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, İlhan Daman notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FeNerBahçeM's İzzet Budak. İzzet Budak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Necaettin Tura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ovacik's supporters rose to their feet, but Necaettin Tura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İzzet Budak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute İlhan Daman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İzzet Budak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, FeNerBahçeM's goal looked a bit too open when Necaettin Tura came free, but İzzet Budak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İzzet Budak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlhan Daman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FeNerBahçeM booed when Ovacik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sadri Güler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Vural Reşat managed to get in a good position for a shot. FeNerBahçeM's supporters rose to their feet, but Vural Reşat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osman Hızlı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. İlhan Daman kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Bilge Kağan Hedef struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Osman Hızlı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FeNerBahçeM. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ovacik's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Doruk Reşit was slow to take the kick. During this time FeNerBahçeM's players had a chance to rest. 90 minutes into the match, Bilge Kağan Hedef dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Osman Hızlı, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Ovacik's Ahmet Turan Koçarslan got a free kick in the 94th minute. Chants of FeNerBahçeM echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ovacik had held the ball for most of the match.
