Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. With a little luck, Menemen's Ziya Alp got control of the ball when İlhan Daman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 10 minutes of play, Menemen's Caner İrgun made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osman Hızlı was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute, Şenel Tanaydin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osman Hızlı was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 20th minute Caner İrgun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osman Hızlı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ovacik booed when Menemen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Engin Uğursal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ovacik defense, Şenel Tanaydin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osman Hızlı. The Ovacik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osman Hızlı should have stopped the shot. Osman Hızlı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şenel Tanaydin in the 30th minute of play. İlhan Daman ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute, Engin Uğursal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Engin Uğursal got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Menemen getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Engin Uğursal hit a great ball. Şenel Tanaydin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şenel Tanaydin in the 78th minute of play forced Ovacik's goalkeeper Osman Hızlı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Ardahan Torehan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osman Hızlı. Ovacik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ardahan Torehan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. In the 87th minute, Şenel Tanaydin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Osman Hızlı. The goal made the score 0-7. After 91 played minutes Menemen got a freekick which was hit by Sümer Mukbil. Ziya Alp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İlhan Daman, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Menemen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
