İzzettin Turgut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veysel Bahçeli in the 5th minute of the match. Hasan Tahsin Demirkan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. Fenerbahçe SK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Hayati Oyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hasan Tahsin Demirkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutay Servet having to interfere. Kutay Servet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasan Tahsin Demirkan in the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes FENERBAHÇE got a freekick which was hit by Neşat Şehzade. FENERBAHÇE's Kutay Servet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save FENERBAHÇE from getting a goal against them. After 25 minutes of play, Fenerbahçe SK's Hayati Oyman made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kutay Servet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hasan Tahsin Demirkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Kutay Servet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baran Bilge Bakanay hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Veysel Bahçeli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hasan Tahsin Demirkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FENERBAHÇE's zone, Hayati Oyman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kutay Servet came out of the goal and Hayati Oyman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Işık Sayar was the one to do the kick off. In the 63rd minute, Şafak Kadem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Hasan Tahsin Demirkan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbahçe SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hasan Tahsin Demirkan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kutay Servet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hayati Oyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hayati Oyman in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kutay Servet prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
