Refik Pektay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Işık Sayar in the 9th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Işık Sayar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarioglan FK's Refik Pektay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Babür Aktaşlıoğlu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veysel Bahçeli in the 16th minute of play forced Sarioglan FK's goalkeeper Refik Pektay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Refik Pektay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Veysel Bahçeli's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Kurtuluş Akkın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes FENERBAHÇE got a freekick which was hit by Neşat Şehzade. In the 30th minute of the match, Rafet Akoğlu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kutay Servet was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Babür Aktaşlıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd play minute Rafet Akoğlu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kutay Servet. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Işık Sayar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kutay Servet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafet Akoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Rafet Akoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarioglan FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafet Akoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kutay Servet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sarioglan FK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
