But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdülhak Özilter couldn't finish the play. 7 minutes into the game, one of Fenerbahçe:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Serhat Ekemen, was totally fooled by Red Bows's Baykan Seralp, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Abdülhak Özilter charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdülhak Özilter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abdülhak Özilter kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Ali Numan Arıkhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaptan Ekemen in the 28th minute of play forced Red Bows's goalkeeper Doğan Kayaer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Abdülhak Özilter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sacit Kayrar hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Ali Numan Arıkhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Bows's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Numan Arıkhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Ali Numan Arıkhan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 45 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Yetkin Ganim. After a defensive mix-up in Fenerbahçe's zone, Ali Numan Arıkhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serhat Ekemen came out of the goal and Ali Numan Arıkhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ali Numan Arıkhan made the kick off in the second half. After 52nd play minutes Abdülhak Özilter shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Serhat Ekemen and just under the crossbar into goal. When Recep Talha Tanay came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Fenerbahçe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Recep Talha Tanay couldn't finish the play. Doğan Kayaer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaptan Ekemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Fenerbahçe defense, Ali Numan Arıkhan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serhat Ekemen. The Fenerbahçe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serhat Ekemen should have stopped the shot. Ali Numan Arıkhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Serhat Ekemen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Fenerbahçe getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Yetkin Ganim hit a great ball. Red Bows's Baykan Seralp couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fenerbahçe. Recep Talha Tanays short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Doğan Kayaer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Kaptan Ekemen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbahçe's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaptan Ekemen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doğan Kayaer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th match minute, Red Bows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aytuğ Kutluay to maneuver through the defense. Kaptan Ekemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğan Kayaer having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Kaptan Ekemen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doğan Kayaer was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, Red Bows's goal looked a bit too open when Kaptan Ekemen came free, but Doğan Kayaer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Red Bows had won after a very even match.
