With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aygün Muammer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baltalimani's Aygün Muammer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Can Fırıncı in the 33rd minute of play. When İbrahim Ethem Ateş came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Dragons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İbrahim Ethem Ateş couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Baltalimani's Bektaş Ali Semir got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Baltalimani's zone, İbrahim Ethem Ateş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aygün Muammer came out of the goal and İbrahim Ethem Ateş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Baltalimani's goalkeeper Aygün Muammer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 46 minutes, Baykam Akad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragons and the Baltalimani players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baykam Akad hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute Baha Erbelgin managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Macit Akgül to strike the kick off in the second half. Paşa Ali İsmihan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Kağan Ocak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Kağan Ocak's late challenge caught a Dragons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Kağan Ocak helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, Baltalimani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Kağan Ocak to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Kağan Ocak kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to Baltalimani getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Macit Akgül hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Baltalimani defense, Can Fırıncı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aygün Muammer. The Baltalimani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aygün Muammer should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as İbrahim Ethem Ateş kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aygün Muammer. That made the score 0-2 in the 73 minute of play. In the 77th minute İbrahim Ethem Ateş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aygün Muammer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Hamdi Tunçhan during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Baltalimani's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Necip Fazıl Revan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Can Fırıncı in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aygün Muammer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice moves Can Fırıncı could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Aygün Muammer however easily saved by the left post. Aygün Muammer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Ethem Ateş in the 93rd minute of play. Aygün Muammer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Can Fırıncı in the 94th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İbrahim Ethem Ateş in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aygün Muammer saved Baltalimani from getting behind. When the match clock showed 98 minutes, the score became 0-4 when İbrahim Ethem Ateş sped through Baltalimani's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aygün Muammer. The Baltalimani fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dragons were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
