Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dündar Yelesen to make the kick off. URZ61's Uğuralp Kökşin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ufuk Aksoy in the 52nd minute of play. The URZ61 fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when URZ61's Rıfkı Çiftçioğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ufuk Aksoy scored 2-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uğuralp Kökşin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the match, URZ61's goal looked a bit too open when Dündar Yelesen came free, but Uğuralp Kökşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ufuk Aksoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 played minutes URZ61 got a freekick which was hit by Yaşar Nuri Perk. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ufuk Aksoy got free with Uğuralp Kökşin in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute, Dündar Yelesen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Uğuralp Kökşin. The goal made the score 2-2. Ufuk Aksoy ran back to his position shaking his head. URZ61's Rıfkı Çiftçioğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Uğuralp Kökşin managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Kirikkale's Ufuk Aksoy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
