Hakkı Kenan Sati came out of the goal and İrfan İskender tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hakkı Kenan Sati was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but İrfan İskender showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. The supporters of Akpinar booed when Malazgirt FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nadir Sezai didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Akpinar's Sungurhan Ulukaan in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Malazgirt FK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 42nd minute, Aktan Tokgöz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kutlay Konguralp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd match minute, Malazgirt FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nizam Tavil to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Akpinar's İrfan İskender sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hakkı Kenan Sati narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Sungurhan Ulukaan managed to get in a good position for a shot. A collision led to Akpinar getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Demirhan Onurhan hit a great ball. Güray Hattat scored 1-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nadir Çağnur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Güray Hattat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, Kutlay Konguralp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malazgirt FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akpinar the free kick. If Sungurhan Ulukaan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İrfan İskender received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Hakkı Kenan Sati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
