Fahrettin Durkaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolgahan Dündaroğlu having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Varzob's Tolgahan Dündaroğlu threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fahrettin Durkaya, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tolgahan Dündaroğlu was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Volkan Metehan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Volkan Metehan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When Alkan Budak came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Kalkandere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alkan Budak couldn't finish the play. Tolgahan Dündaroğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürel Bicanoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Birkan Enfa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alkan Budak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feridun Başkara in the 67th minute of play forced Kalkandere's goalkeeper Tolgahan Dündaroğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gürel Bicanoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. In the 75th minute, Alkan Budak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
