Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fahrettin Durkaya started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Kadiköy got a freekick which was hit by Erdinç Hatemoğlu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fahrettin Durkaya in the 8th minute of play forced Kadiköy's goalkeeper Zeki Sidar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Volkan Metehan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeki Sidar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 minutes, Bahri Çetinel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kadiköy and the Varzob players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kadiköy's Bahri Çetinel got a free kick in the 10th minute. Kadiköy's Zeki Sidar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fahrettin Durkaya in the 12th minute of play. If Volkan Metehan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erdinç Hatemoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Hakkı Deniz Keçeci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reşat İlcan got free with Hakkı Deniz Keçeci in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Varzob's zone, Reşat İlcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hakkı Deniz Keçeci came out of the goal and Reşat İlcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Varzob booed when Kadiköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evren Atacan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reşat İlcans short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Hakkı Deniz Keçeci to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Varzob booed when Kadiköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Anıl Hatmi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kadiköy's zone, Meriç Batırhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeki Sidar came out of the goal and Meriç Batırhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fahrettin Durkaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Zeki Sidar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erdinç Hatemoğlu was the one to do the kick off. Reşat İlcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Hakkı Deniz Keçeci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Erdinç Hatemoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hakkı Deniz Keçeci was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The audience was convinced that Reşat İlcan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hakkı Deniz Keçeci was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. If Reşat İlcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeki Sidar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fahrettin Durkaya in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reşat İlcan in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hakkı Deniz Keçeci saved Varzob from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Erdinç Hatemoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hakkı Deniz Keçeci was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Meriç Batırhan, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Hakkı Deniz Keçeci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reşat İlcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Hakkı Deniz Keçeci came out of the goal and Reşat İlcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Erdinç Hatemoğlu made a precise shot to the right of Hakkı Deniz Keçeci. Varzob's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Fahrettin Durkaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Volkan Metehan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kadiköy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Varzob had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
