In the 3rd minute, Aytekin Özgurel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Derviş Bucak came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Karacaören fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Derviş Bucak couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind ArdahanSpor's goalkeeper Atıf Olgaç, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Reşit Tükelay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Atıf Olgaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Reşit Tükelay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karacaören's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reşit Tükelay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Derviş Bucak charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Derviş Bucak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. ArdahanSpor's Yakup Batüralp was substituted for Berkin Dündar. In the 31st minute, Derviş Bucak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in ArdahanSpor's zone, Murat Selim Tarık stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atıf Olgaç came out of the goal and Murat Selim Tarık tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute Reşit Tükelay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atıf Olgaç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Reşit Tükelay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aytekin Özgurel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of ArdahanSpor booed when Karacaören was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cemalettin Perkin didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see ArdahanSpor's Aytekin Özgurel in action when he in the 49th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Aytekin Özgurel made the kick off in the second half. İshak Uluç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aytekin Özgurel in the 62nd minute of the match. ArdahanSpor's Aytekin Özgurel got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, ArdahanSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Murat Selim Tarık came free, but Atıf Olgaç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Karacaören's goal looked a bit too open when Aytekin Özgurel came free, but İshak Uluç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Aytekin Özgurel made a precise shot to the right of İshak Uluç. Karacaören's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Reşit Tükelay got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
