Spectators: 6509 (Terracing: 5509, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nazım Uğursan got the match started through his kick off. FENERBAHCE's Nazım Uğursan got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aktan Beybolat came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by FENERBAHCE's Enes Yahya. But to his dismay, Enes Yahya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Seyit Olgun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aytuğ Battal in the 11th minute of play. Seyit Olgun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamdullah Özerek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Karagümrük's Özkan Omural sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Seyit Olgun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 20 minutes, Ahmet Korcan Uygar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FENERBAHCE and the Karagümrük players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Ahmet Korcan Uygar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vural Aksel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Cumali Kaptan fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karagümrük's protests and gave Cumali Kaptan a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes Karagümrük got a freekick which was hit by Cumali Kaptan. Enes Yahya struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Aktan Beybolat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FENERBAHCE.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamdullah Özerek was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazım Uğursan in the 53rd minute of play forced Karagümrük's goalkeeper Aktan Beybolat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nazım Uğursan in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aktan Beybolat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hamdullah Özerek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Nazım Uğursan came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the FENERBAHCE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nazım Uğursan couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Enes Yahya made a precise shot to the right of Aktan Beybolat. Karagümrük's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 69th match minute, FENERBAHCE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umut Tonguç to maneuver through the defense. Necat Orkun was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Seyit Olgun made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Özkan Omural sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Karagümrük booed when FENERBAHCE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kutlu Asır didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Karagümrük's Necat Orkun broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 87 minutes into the match, Karagümrük's goal looked a bit too open when Nazım Uğursan came free, but Aktan Beybolat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FENERBAHCE's Seyit Olgun got control of the ball when Özkan Omural tried to sneak it across the goal line.
