Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Çağan Mertoğul started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. İSTANBUL FK.'s Songurbey Toydeniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çağan Mertoğul in the 3rd minute of play. After some careless play in the İSTANBUL FK. defense, Abdullah Baytekin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Songurbey Toydeniz. The İSTANBUL FK. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Songurbey Toydeniz should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Abdullah Baytekin put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Songurbey Toydeniz. Lemi Berksoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Macit Ortun having to interfere. After 26 minutes of play, İSTANBUL FK.'s Ali Erdem Alkın made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ali Macit Ortun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ali Ömer Tunçaslan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Songurbey Toydeniz having to interfere. Ali Erdem Alkın scored 2-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Macit Ortun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Songurbey Toydeniz managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Bahcekapi FK's Abdullah Baytekin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ali Erdem Alkın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lemi Berksoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ali Macit Ortun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 minutes, Orbay Dolunay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bahcekapi FK and the İSTANBUL FK. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Bahcekapi FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orbay Dolunay to maneuver through the defense. Ali Macit Ortun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lemi Berksoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Erdem Alkın stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ali Macit Ortun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lemi Berksoy in the 53rd minute. Şemsettin Vatansever, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ali Macit Ortun was a little too slow when Ali Erdem Alkın got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 2-3. Lemi Berksoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Ali Erdem Alkın reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ali Macit Ortun. The goal made the score 2-4. When Vahit Altıncığlu fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored İSTANBUL FK.'s protests and gave Vahit Altıncığlu a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes İSTANBUL FK. got a freekick which was hit by Vahit Altıncığlu. Denizhan Verim took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Songurbey Toydeniz. İSTANBUL FK.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 70 played minutes İSTANBUL FK. got a freekick which was hit by Ali Behzat Acun. Songurbey Toydeniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdullah Baytekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Songurbey Toydeniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çağan Mertoğul in the 75th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Bahcekapi FK's goal looked a bit too open when Alkan Muhsin came free, but Ali Macit Ortun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bahcekapi FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Şemsettin Vatansever was slow to take the kick. During this time İSTANBUL FK.'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Şemsettin Vatansever got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ali Macit Ortun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Ali Erdem Alkın took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Ali Macit Ortun to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Şemsettin Vatansever during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes İSTANBUL FK. got a freekick which was hit by Şemsettin Vatansever. After a rather tough play, İSTANBUL FK.'s Derman Aksun got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If Orbay Dolunay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. İSTANBUL FK. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
