In the 19th minute, Asım Nevsal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Cengiz Uçbeyi got free with Soner Perkel in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Werder Weremem booed when Bwşiktaş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asım Nevsal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Werder Weremem's Hamza Veli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkın Erüstün in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd match minute, Werder Weremem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kemal Özakıncı to maneuver through the defense. Mecnun Ünsever did an outstanding performance 45 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-3 to the right of an irritated Hamza Veli in the goal. The Werder Weremem players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bwşiktaş were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serhat Dilşad was the one to do the kick off. The Bwşiktaş supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bwşiktaş would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
