The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Karakocan getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Aşık Yeğin hit a great ball. Doğukan Uygar, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Halit Fahri Kılıçhan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 10th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Karakocan's Raşit Renan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Turabi Güdü narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Turabi Güdü took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raşit Renan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karakocan's Halit Fahri Kılıçhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Refik Halit Veli in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 52nd match minute, Karakocan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oğuzer Tutuş to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th match minute, Karakocan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erkin Paksan to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes Askale got a freekick which was hit by Doğukan Uygar. In the 58th minute Ali Cafer Hızlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turabi Güdü saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Halis Şahinhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Halit Fahri Kılıçhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Halit Fahri Kılıçhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Halis Şahinhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Refik Halit Veli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mehmet Halis Şahinhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 98 minutes, Refik Halit Veli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Askale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Refik Halit Veli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Askale had won after a very even match.
