Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rahmi Bucuklu made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Selendi SK's zone, Rahmi Bucuklu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alkın Vedat came out of the goal and Rahmi Bucuklu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sungurbey Uzer in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alkın Vedat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rahmi Bucuklu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Alkın Vedat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferhan Kutsel during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ataman Uçbeyi, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alkın Vedat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sungurbey Uzer in the 15th minute of play. When Süreyya Onuk fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Selendi SK's protests and gave Süreyya Onuk a yellow card for diving instead. Süreyya Onuk kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Şensoy Öztaylan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Selendi SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şensoy Öztaylan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Müfit Yıldızhan put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Selendi SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Iydere:s goal. Selendi SK's Alkın Vedat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Selendi SK from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute Birdal Tokdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Hamdi Sümeroğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match, Sungurbey Uzer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alkın Vedat saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With his leg Alkın Vedat managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Iydere's Rahmi Bucuklu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Selendi SK's Alkın Vedat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Selendi SK from getting a goal against them. Rahmi Bucuklu struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Alkın Vedat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iydere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When Rahmi Bucuklu came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Iydere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rahmi Bucuklu couldn't finish the play. Alişan Akyüz hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Alkın Vedat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sungurbey Uzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, Iydere's Sungurbey Uzer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alkın Vedat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Iydere getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Hayati Şahit hit a great ball. Birdal Tokdemir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Hamdi Sümeroğlu having to interfere. Alişan Akyüz kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Iydere's Sungurbey Uzer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alkın Vedat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alkın Vedat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahmi Bucuklu in the 84th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Sungurbey Uzer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iydere's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
