Spectators: 7464 (Terracing: 5599, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ahmet Boran Akçakıl kicked off to start the match. The long shot by Mansur Kunt in the 4th minute really tested Ahmet Gökalp Sertel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 5th minute, Ahmet Danış Karaca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Atabey's Tekin Çinuçin got a free kick in the 6th minute. Kurtuluş Kutlay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Boran Akçakıl in the 13th minute of play. Kurtuluş Kutlay came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Atabey's Ahmet Boran Akçakıl. But to his dismay, Ahmet Boran Akçakıl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nazil Başeskioğlu's late challenge caught a Tigers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nazil Başeskioğlu helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Atabey got a freekick which was hit by Nazil Başeskioğlu. The Tigers fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Tigers's Ali Orhan Tezal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Atabey getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ali Kürşat Çelik hit a great ball. Ali Orhan Tezal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Gökalp Sertel having to make a save. Musa Ersoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Gökalp Sertel having to make a save. If Yılmaz Nuratay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Tekin Çinuçin came free, but Kurtuluş Kutlay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45th play minutes Ali Orhan Tezal shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Ahmet Gökalp Sertel and just under the crossbar into goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Orhan Tezal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kurtuluş Kutlay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazil Başeskioğlu in the 51st minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Ahmet Boran Akçakıl dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kurtuluş Kutlay, 2-2. Yılmaz Nuratay hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ali Kürşat Çelik during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute, Ali Kürşat Çelik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Danış Karaca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kurtuluş Kutlay came out and tried to block the shot, but Ahmet Danış Karaca slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 60th minute. Ali Kürşat Çelik's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kurtuluş Kutlay firmly grabbed it by the left post. Yılmaz Nuratay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Gökalp Sertel having to interfere. Atabey's Ahmet Gökalp Sertel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Orhan Tezal in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Ahmet Danış Karaca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Atabey booed when Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yılmaz Nuratay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yılmaz Nuratay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Tigers defense, Nazil Başeskioğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurtuluş Kutlay. The Tigers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurtuluş Kutlay should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute Ahmet Boran Akçakıl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurtuluş Kutlay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Tigers's goalkeeper Kurtuluş Kutlay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Kürşat Çelik. 90 minutes into the match, Tigers's goalkeeper Kurtuluş Kutlay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Kürşat Çelik. The Tigers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atabey's performance. The match ended with a win for Atabey.
