In the 4th minute, TOPAL SOLUCAN's Batuğ Şakib seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Batuğ Şakib the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of TOPAL SOLUCAN protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Batuğ Şakib had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for TOPAL SOLUCAN! When Nazım Öztek fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TOPAL SOLUCAN's protests and gave Nazım Öztek a yellow card for diving instead. Nazım Öztek kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After some careless play in the TOPAL SOLUCAN defense, Ahmet Hakan Yalavaç kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tahir Özçevik. The TOPAL SOLUCAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tahir Özçevik should have stopped the shot. Abbas Eskicioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Tahir Özçevik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, TOPAL SOLUCAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İzzet Özçınar to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to TOPAL SOLUCAN getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. İlhami Sabancı hit a great ball. Gemerek SK's Doğaner İltemur got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ekrem Durak came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Gemerek SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ekrem Durak couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Abbas Eskicioğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tahir Özçevik. TOPAL SOLUCAN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abbas Eskicioğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to Gemerek SK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Vecdi Gürtuna hit a great ball. Tahir Özçevik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abbas Eskicioğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abbas Eskicioğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Niyazi Ulualp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Tahir Özçevik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cabbar Ungan was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abbas Eskicioğlu in the 51st minute of play forced TOPAL SOLUCAN's goalkeeper Tahir Özçevik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cabbar Ungan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cabbar Ungan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuz Bülent Halıcı having to interfere. Mahsun Eracar struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Yavuz Bülent Halıcı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TOPAL SOLUCAN. Tahir Özçevik came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Gemerek SK's Ahmet Hakan Yalavaç. But to his dismay, Ahmet Hakan Yalavaç quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Abbas Eskicioğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abbas Eskicioğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gemerek SK played a much better game than TOPAL SOLUCAN and deserved their victory. The TOPAL SOLUCAN players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
