The crowd rose to their feet as Gürpinar's Stephen Maxwell slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Battal Seyyit Özsan. That made the score 2-0 after 10 minutes of play. Kamer Tacim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Battal Seyyit Özsan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derya Sefa in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match Gürpinar got a corner. Viransehir's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kamer Tacim ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Ejder Kınık came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Viransehir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ejder Kınık couldn't finish the play. Battal Seyyit Özsan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derya Sefa in the 21st minute of the match. Battal Seyyit Özsan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baykal Budaklı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Battal Seyyit Özsan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bahadır Gencer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. A collision led to Gürpinar getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Okaner Toydemir hit a great ball. Faik Akboğa kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Battal Seyyit Özsan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gürpinar. 45 minutes into the match, Ejder Kınık had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Hakkı Tolgan. Gürpinar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ejder Kınık was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaan Nevzat to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Derya Sefa in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Battal Seyyit Özsan saved Viransehir from getting behind. Mehmet Hakkı Tolgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaan Nevzat in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Stephen Maxwell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gürpinar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Kaan Nevzat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Hakkı Tolgan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Ejder Kınık's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Mehmet Hakkı Tolgan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ejder Kınık got free with Mehmet Hakkı Tolgan in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Kaan Nevzat took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Mehmet Hakkı Tolgan to make any attempt to save it. Ejder Kınık could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Mehmet Hakkı Tolgan made a huge save.
