When Cankut Palabıyık came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Vezirköprü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cankut Palabıyık couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the match, Vezirköprü's Cankut Palabıyık sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Faruk Candemir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anıl Berk Toktahan might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Memduh Heybetli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anıl Berk Toktahan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arif Memduh Heybetli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 68th minute Cankut Palabıyık shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Faruk Candemir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
