Selim Yanar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Ulubay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Egespor got a freekick which was hit by Birant Eroğlu. In the 22nd minute Birant Eroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emin Sonalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudy Pérus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emin Sonalp having to make a save. Emin Sonalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birant Eroğlu in the 26th minute of play. A hard shot 27 in the game by Rudy Pérus from a close distance when the talented Emin Sonalp managed to make a qualified save. Malazgirt SK's players were relieved. After 60 played minutes Malazgirt SK got a freekick which was hit by Raik Demirman. Birant Eroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emin Sonalp having to interfere. Marcin Leper took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emin Sonalp. Malazgirt SK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sancarbey Sancaktar kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Kutlu Sefik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Selim Yanar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Ali Ulubay made a huge save. The Egespor fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Egespor's Birant Eroğlu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The Egespor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Malazgirt SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
