Selman Kutalmış could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Ahmet Fikret Şahinalp made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Ali Onuralp in the 9th minute of play forced BEŞİKTAŞ JK İSTANBUL's goalkeeper Ahmet Fikret Şahinalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Fikret Şahinalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gencay Salti in the 17th minute of play. If Ruhi Hendekli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Fikret Şahinalp made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Selman Kutalmış sent off a good shot on target. After 27 played minutes Kadiköy got a freekick which was hit by Selman Kutalmış. Selman Kutalmış came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ahmet Fikret Şahinalp could save by the left post. In the 32nd minute, Gencay Salti reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ahmet Fikret Şahinalp. The goal made the score 1-0. Müslüm Kocay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Ahmet Fikret Şahinalp made a huge save. Alican Kutal hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Ahmet Fikret Şahinalp made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Müslüm Kocay sent off a good shot on target. Kadiköy's Müslüm Kocay got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ruhi Hendekli came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the BEŞİKTAŞ JK İSTANBUL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruhi Hendekli couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Mehmet Ali Onuralp made the kick off in the second half. In the 79th minute Gencay Salti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Fikret Şahinalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Ali Onuralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ahmet Fikret Şahinalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Fikret Şahinalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Müslüm Kocay in the 88th minute of the match. Ahmet Bülent Kelim hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Kadiköy players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
