Doğa Rıza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ertunç Tarhun in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doğa Rıza saved SC Asseca from getting behind. 20 minutes into the game, Halim Bintuğ was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When Mustafa Cumhur Kamaci fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Asseca's protests and gave Mustafa Cumhur Kamaci a yellow card for diving instead. Doğa Rıza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Pstrongowski in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Sinan Fidan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğa Rıza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ertunç Tarhun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doğa Rıza was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The supporters of Galatasaray Akademi booed when SC Asseca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Cumhur Kamaci didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ertunç Tarhun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Doğa Rıza. That made the score 0-8 in the 79 minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, SC Asseca's goalkeeper Doğa Rıza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Halim Bintuğ. In the 90th minute, Halim Bintuğ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hafız Çubukcu kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
