Ayberk Onar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sinan Ethem in the 9th minute of play. Ayberk Onar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sungurbey Settar in the 10th minute of the match. Ayberk Onar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sinan Ethem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eyüp Kartal hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 23rd match minute, GMG Kastamonuspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mutlu Balaban to maneuver through the defense. Hasan Can Bahçıvan made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ahmet Hakan Sonat sent off a good shot on target. After 25 minutes, Sungurbey Settar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GMG Kastamonuspor and the Galatasaray SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute, Sungurbey Settar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ayberk Onar came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by GMG Kastamonuspor's Sinan Ethem. But to his dismay, Sinan Ethem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Enes Şıran kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Hürkan Onural received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Hasan Can Bahçıvan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sungurbey Settar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ayberk Onar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sungurbey Settar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Hürkan Onural left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galatasaray SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Mutlu Balaban charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mutlu Balaban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Hakan Sonat to make the kick off. The supporters of Galatasaray SK booed when GMG Kastamonuspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eyüp Kartal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ayberk Onar didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when GMG Kastamonuspor's Sungurbey Settar shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Sinan Ethem managed to get in a good position for a shot. GMG Kastamonuspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Sinan Ethem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ayberk Onar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sungurbey Settar in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ayberk Onar saved Galatasaray SK from getting behind. Ayberk Onar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sinan Ethem in the 66th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Sinan Kani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galatasaray SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GMG Kastamonuspor the free kick. After 67 played minutes Galatasaray SK got a freekick which was hit by Sinan Kani. 2-3 became the score in the 72nd minute when Sungurbey Settar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Sungurbey Settar came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the GMG Kastamonuspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sungurbey Settar couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, Sinan Ethem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes in the game, Sungurbey Settar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ayberk Onar having to interfere. In the 86th minute, GMG Kastamonuspor's Sungurbey Settar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Ayberk Onar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sinan Ethem in the 89th minute of the match. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the match, GMG Kastamonuspor's Sinan Ethem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ayberk Onar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as GMG Kastamonuspor's Sungurbey Settar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ayberk Onar. That made the score 2-5 after 99 minutes of play. GMG Kastamonuspor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
