An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Bülent Ilgaz in the 5th minute of play forced Gaziantep's goalkeeper Mümtazer Yura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mümtazer Yura came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Clan Keldau's Ahmet Ceyhan Necati. But to his dismay, Ahmet Ceyhan Necati quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pawel Sitko walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Ahmet Davut Öğüç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kuddusî Reşit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute Fırat Kaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Necmettin Baykoca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kuddusî Reşit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Gaziantep's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Ceyhan Necati came free, but Mümtazer Yura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mümtazer Yura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Bülent Ilgaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Ahmet Davut Öğüç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Fırat Kaya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ahmet Davut Öğüç managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaziantep's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Davut Öğüç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Necmettin Baykoca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Necmettin Baykoca came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gaziantep's Kuddusî Reşit. But to his dismay, Kuddusî Reşit quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Clan Keldau's Necmettin Baykoca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Clan Keldau from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Fırat Kaya took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Necmettin Baykoca to make any attempt to save it. Necmettin Baykoca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fırat Kaya in the 40th minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, Gaziantep was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuddusî Reşit to maneuver through the defense. Mümtazer Yura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Bülent Ilgaz in the 45th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Göktuğ Şahbender managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaziantep's supporters rose to their feet, but Göktuğ Şahbender was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Necmettin Baykoca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Ceyhan Necati was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ahmet Davut Öğüç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Gaziantep's Mümtazer Yura got control of the ball when Ahmet Ceyhan Necati tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Clan Keldau's goalkeeper Necmettin Baykoca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mümtazer Yura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Bülent Ilgaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Kuddusî Reşit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necmettin Baykoca having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Turan Cansever managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaziantep's supporters crossed their fingers, but Turan Cansever was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clan Keldau's Necmettin Baykoca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göktuğ Şahbender in the 78th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Kuddusî Reşit made a precise shot to the right of Necmettin Baykoca. Clan Keldau's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Necmettin Baykoca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fırat Kaya's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. If Fırat Kaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Turan Cansever came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Gaziantep fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Turan Cansever couldn't finish the play. Kuddusî Reşit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necmettin Baykoca having to interfere. Gaziantep's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
