The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Atacan Acarbay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caglayan SK and the Bartin players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Caglayan SK getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Atacan Acarbay hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Nurettin Yildıran could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Atak Baysungur however easily saved by the left post. Saffet Yerlikaya charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saffet Yerlikaya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Caglayan SK booed when Bartin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saffet Yerlikaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Erkut Tokuzer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bartin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caglayan SK the free kick. Erkut Tokuzer kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nurettin Yildıran got free with Atak Baysungur in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nurettin Yildıran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Atak Baysungur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Caglayan SK's goalkeeper Atak Baysungur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nurettin Yildıran. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Hamdi Saruhan in the 26th minute of play forced Bartin's goalkeeper Şadi Uygun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atak Baysungur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehmet Şefik Bedük's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Bartin's Mehmet Şefik Bedük slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Atak Baysungur. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. Atacan Acarbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saffet Yerlikaya was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Bartin's Şadi Uygun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Hamdi Saruhan in the 54th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Atacan Acarbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caglayan SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Atacan Acarbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şadi Uygun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 4-0 became the score in the 62nd minute when Nurettin Yildıran elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bartin's goalkeeper Şadi Uygun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Mehmet Oğuz Usal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute of the match Alemdar Safi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şadi Uygun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 72 minutes, Nurettin Yildıran made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Caglayan SK's Atak Baysungur tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Many of Caglayan SK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Caglayan SK may have spent more time on the ball, but Bartin were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
