After 13 minutes, Habib Akalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZEZEYTUN and the Senesevler JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Habib Akalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conrado Norino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vecdi Kahveci in the 16th minute of play. Behçet Kuluk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Efekan Otaran came out and tried to block the shot, but Behçet Kuluk slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Efekan Otaran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mesut Dersu's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Efekan Otaran made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Behçet Kuluk sent off a good shot on target. ZEZEYTUN's Conrado Norino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mürsel Bedi in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of ZEZEYTUN booed when Senesevler JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Necdet Oğuz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mesut Dersu hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Atilla Harzemşah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efekan Otaran having to interfere. Senesevler JK's Efekan Otaran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Senesevler JK from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Senesevler JK's Vecdi Kahveci got a free kick in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mürsel Bedi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Senesevler JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ejder Azer to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, ZEZEYTUN's İlkan Sargın got a free kick in the 55th minute. Conrado Norino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mürsel Bedi in the 59th minute of the match. Kerim Maruf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Norino having to interfere. Conrado Norino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vecdi Kahveci, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Atilla Harzemşah struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Efekan Otaran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZEZEYTUN. Efekan Otaran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mesut Dersu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Vecdi Kahveci could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Conrado Norino however easily saved by the left post. Efekan Otaran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Behçet Kuluk, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Mesut Dersu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd minute Behçet Kuluk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efekan Otaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vecdi Kahveci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behçet Kuluk in the 89th minute of play forced Senesevler JK's goalkeeper Efekan Otaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Behçet Kuluk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Efekan Otaran was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ZEZEYTUN fans cheered their team off the field, for while Senesevler JK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
