In the 12th minute, Tekirdag's Ahmet Arif Talaz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bülent Uzalp. Bülent Uzalp yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 23 played minutes Tekirdag got a freekick which was hit by Haydar Dalokay. Bülent Uzalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dilaver Temizkal, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Burgazada's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Dilaver Temizkal scored to the left of an out of position Bülent Uzalp, making the score, 2-0. Bülent Uzalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Arif Talaz in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayrettin Uğuray in the 34th minute of play forced Tekirdag's goalkeeper Niyazi Dağhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Emrullah Hekim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niyazi Dağhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tekirdag's zone, Cemil Remiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niyazi Dağhan came out of the goal and Cemil Remiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute, Seyhun Saip hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. İrfan Oncubay made in the 56th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dilaver Temizkal however managed to control. 58 minutes into the game, Tekirdag's Savaş Umut nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bülent Uzalp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 60th match minute, Tekirdag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dilaver Temizkal to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Arif Talaz in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bülent Uzalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Ali Cafer Elçin in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Burgazada's Aktaç Tetiker. Bülent Uzalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Savaş Umut, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 70 minutes of play, Tekirdag's Savaş Umut made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bülent Uzalp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hüsamettin Eskici charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hüsamettin Eskici the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hüsamettin Eskici hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Niyazi Dağhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serhan Ruhsat in the 78th minute of play. Burgazada's Bülent Uzalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Arif Talaz in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute, Dilaver Temizkal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tekirdag fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The supporters of Burgazada booed when Tekirdag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dilaver Temizkal didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Tekirdag's Niyazi Dağhan got control of the ball when Serhan Ruhsat tried to sneak it across the goal line. Burgazada's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
