The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ayvaz Baytüze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vatan Candaner's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mahir Tuğsan got free with Murat Selim Tezalp in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Vatan Candaner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ayvaz Baytüze was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. SUSURLUK SK's Ayvaz Baytüze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vatan Candaner in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Mahir Tuğsan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SUSURLUK SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mahir Tuğsan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Murat Selim Tezalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soner Altunay in the 29th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Ahmet Emir Şerafeddin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Murat Selim Tezalp. The goal made the score 1-0. Ayvaz Baytüze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulvahit Kuntman in the 40th minute of the match. Murat Selim Tezalp made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when İldeniz Erbay sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vatan Candaner in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ayvaz Baytüze prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Vatan Candaner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vanspor FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Vatan Candaner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ayvaz Baytüze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SUSURLUK SK's Ayvaz Baytüze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save SUSURLUK SK from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Vanspor FK getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Kubat Yalavaç hit a great ball. Mahir Tuğsan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murat Selim Tezalp having to interfere. Vatan Candaner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vanspor FK's Murat Selim Tezalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mahir Tuğsan in the 96th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, SUSURLUK SK could leave the field as winners, despite Vanspor FK having more of the ball for most of the match.
