The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cevahir Canberk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, Saffet Sadi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fevzi Özerman was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 41st minute of the game Seyfullah Toköz made a throw-in which Musa Habiboğlu played forward. In the 42nd minute Musa Habiboğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fevzi Özerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 48 minutes, Viktor Kabanov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ALTUNTAŞ F.K. and the Kursunlu FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ALTUNTAŞ F.K.'s Viktor Kabanov got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cevahir Canberk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abdulmelik Özerhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cevahir Canberk in the 63rd minute of the match.
