Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 120) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Songurbey Eski kicked off to start the match. MERT-SU's Bekir Tardu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlyas Kırdar in the 9th minute of play. The audience was convinced that İlyas Kırdar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bekir Tardu was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, İlyas Kırdar put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bekir Tardu. Erkut Haznedaroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, MERT-SU's Songurbey Eski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nusret Nurbaki. Nusret Nurbaki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Bekir Tardu came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Ückuyular's Erkut Haznedaroğlu. But to his dismay, Erkut Haznedaroğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Erkut Haznedaroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bekir Tardu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, İlyas Kırdar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ückuyular's supporters rose to their feet, but İlyas Kırdar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bekir Tardu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Fevzi Ünsan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When MERT-SU's Songurbey Eski, in the 45th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for MERT-SU. If Erkut Haznedaroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Hadi Suel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Hadi Suel notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Ückuyular's Nusret Nurbaki. Nusret Nurbaki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If İlyas Kırdar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Erkut Haznedaroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bekir Tardu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ückuyular booed when MERT-SU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mert Eryaman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erkut Haznedaroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bekir Tardu having to interfere. İlyas Kırdar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Bekir Tardu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 played minutes MERT-SU got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Arif Taykurt. After having played for 73 minutes, İlyas Kırdar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ückuyular's supporters crossed their fingers, but İlyas Kırdar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, MERT-SU's Bekir Tardu got control of the ball when İlyas Kırdar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Erkut Haznedaroğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bekir Tardu was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erkut Haznedaroğlu in the 83rd minute of play forced MERT-SU's goalkeeper Bekir Tardu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, İlyas Kırdar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ückuyular's supporters rose to their feet, but İlyas Kırdar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bekir Tardu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. İlyas Kırdar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bekir Tardu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Erkut Haznedaroğlu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Ückuyular's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 91st minute, İlyas Kırdar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saffet Cenger hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, MERT-SU could leave the field as winners, despite Ückuyular having more of the ball for most of the match.
