Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) MERT-SU's Songurbey Eski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in MERT-SU's zone, Şafak Tardu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bekir Tardu came out of the goal and Şafak Tardu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yomra FK's Murathan Bekir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hadi Suel in the 7th minute of play. Şafak Tardu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Şafak Tardu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. MERT-SU's Bekir Tardu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şafak Tardu in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Yomra FK booed when MERT-SU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alişan Temirhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Şafak Tardu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yomra FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şafak Tardu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Selman Çiftçibaşı fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yomra FK's protests and gave Selman Çiftçibaşı a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of MERT-SU booed when Yomra FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selman Çiftçibaşı didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Hadi Suel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Murathan Bekir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hadi Suel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bekir Tardu came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Yomra FK's İzzettin Argun. But to his dismay, İzzettin Argun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Şafak Tardu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şafak Tardu to make the kick off. When İzzettin Argun came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Yomra FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İzzettin Argun couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şafak Tardu in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bekir Tardu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bekir Tardu came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Yomra FK's İzzettin Argun. But to his dismay, İzzettin Argun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Şafak Tardu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, İzzettin Argun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yomra FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. When Yomra FK's Şafak Tardu, in the 74th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Yomra FK. Mete Karacan charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mete Karacan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mete Karacan hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Songurbey Eski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bekir Tardu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şafak Tardu went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. After 96 minutes, Mustafa Arif Taykurt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MERT-SU and the Yomra FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mustafa Arif Taykurt hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Şafak Tardu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Bekir Tardu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Yomra FK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
