The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Aydin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lapseki SK:s goal. The goalkeeper, Mustafa Namık Atay, was totally fooled by Lapseki SK's Celil Algın, who 37 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Göksun İmren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mustafa Namık Atay having to make a save. In the 47th minute, Lapseki SK's Göksun İmren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mustafa Namık Atay. Mustafa Namık Atay yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Servet Dervişoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
