When Birol Baykır came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birol Baykır couldn't finish the play. Talip Vefa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selman Mete in the 6th minute of play. Şimşek Şakir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aybars Elhan having to interfere. With a little luck, Gerigeldim's Talip Vefa got control of the ball when Ayhan Akbatur tried to sneak it across the goal line. Selman Mete received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Talip Vefa came out and tried to block the shot, but Selman Mete slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. Talip Vefa came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤'s Birol Baykır. But to his dismay, Birol Baykır quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 40th minute, Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤'s Selman Mete ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Talip Vefa. Talip Vefa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Talip Vefa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selman Mete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Gerigeldim's goalkeeper Talip Vefa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Birol Baykır. In the 47th minute, Ⓖⓞⓩⓣⓔⓟⓔ ①⑨②⑤'s Selman Mete dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Selman Mete to make the kick off. Şimşek Şakir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aybars Elhan having to make a save. In the 55th minute Ayhan Akbatur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talip Vefa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Talip Vefa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Selman Mete went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Birol Baykır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Talip Vefa having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Birol Baykır shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talip Vefa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulaş Teksen struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Aybars Elhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gerigeldim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selman Mete in the 71st minute of play forced Gerigeldim's goalkeeper Talip Vefa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerigeldim's Şimşek Şakir got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Talip Vefa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Birol Baykır went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Gerigeldim getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Mehmet Edip Taib hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selman Mete in the 92nd minute of play forced Gerigeldim's goalkeeper Talip Vefa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Talip Vefa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selman Mete in the 97th minute of the match.
