Meziro JK's Kadri Cantürk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Meziro JK from getting a goal against them. When Arif Nihat Taib came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Meziro JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Nihat Taib couldn't finish the play. Marmaris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alan Pérez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Meziro JK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Alan Pérez scored to the left of an out of position Kadri Cantürk, making the score, 5-0. Enrique Mattos hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Metin Tunalı was the one to do the kick off. In the 93rd minute, Michalis Koustoubos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kadri Cantürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Pérez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Marmaris fully deserved thier win.
