Gevas FK's Rüknettin Işıner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekber Yetkin in the 17th minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Ekber Yetkin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rüknettin Işıner. Ekber Yetkin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Ula's Ekber Yetkin got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Numan Erzan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ula's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gevas FK the free kick. Ekber Yetkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute.
