Sami Sena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Şerafettin Çoğahan made a huge save. In the 4th minute İstemihan Talaykan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gürkan Muzaffer lost his temper 7 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 6 minutes into the game, one of Simental gücü:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Hakuna Matata. Tolga Perker stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Şerafettin Çoğahan. 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Simental gücü's goal looked a bit too open when Hüsnü Ünlü came free, but Şerafettin Çoğahan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Lemi Cire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hakuna Matata's supporters rose to their feet, but Lemi Cire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şerafettin Çoğahan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Hakuna Matata's Güntekin Akil got a free kick in the 24th minute. Şerafettin Çoğahan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. With a little luck, Simental gücü's Şerafettin Çoğahan got control of the ball when Ahmet Ömür Sefaaddin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Sami Sena dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Şerafettin Çoğahan, 3-0. 40 minutes into the match, Simental gücü's goal looked a bit too open when İsa Tüney came free, but Şerafettin Çoğahan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şerafettin Çoğahan was a little too slow when Hüsnü Ünlü got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 4-0. Ahmet Ömür Sefaaddin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Şerafettin Çoğahan made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The supporters of Hakuna Matata booed when Simental gücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sacit Ruhi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 52 played minutes, Hakuna Matata's Tolga Perker shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Şerafettin Çoğahan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hakuna Matata reached it. 54 minutes into the game, Hakuna Matata's Hüsnü Ünlü nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Şerafettin Çoğahan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 57th minute Sami Aymaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şerafettin Çoğahan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hakuna Matata's Santos Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Hakuna Matata from getting a goal against them. Bilge Mertol hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Şerafettin Çoğahan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Ömür Sefaaddin in the 62nd minute of play. Şerafettin Çoğahan came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Hakuna Matata's Hüsnü Ünlü. But to his dismay, Hüsnü Ünlü quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 70 minutes into the match, Simental gücü's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Ömür Sefaaddin came free, but Şerafettin Çoğahan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şerafettin Çoğahan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Ömür Sefaaddin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bilge Mertol kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Ahmet Ömür Sefaaddin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 7-1 became the score in the 84th minute when Sami Sena elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Simental gücü defense, Mustafa Hakan Özkar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şerafettin Çoğahan. The Simental gücü fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şerafettin Çoğahan should have stopped the shot. Şerafettin Çoğahan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sami Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Santos Santos was a little too slow when İstemihan Talaykan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 8-2. There was no doubt that Hakuna Matata were the better team. Hakuna Matata's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
