Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Erdoğan Askeroğlu made the kick off which started today's match. Ibradi's Şafak Temizer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Üzeyir Yağızalp in the 8th minute of play. Arif Burak Sargın kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Üzeyir Yağızalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of 1925 GÖZTEPE booed when Ibradi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erdem Sidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şafak Temizer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erdoğan Askeroğlu went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Ibradi booed when 1925 GÖZTEPE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dursun Koçaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in 1925 GÖZTEPE's zone, Necmi Tur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ercan Maksut came out of the goal and Necmi Tur tried to chip the ball over his head. After taking down the ball on 1925 GÖZTEPE's corner Gökhun Babacan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Şafak Temizer quite easily take care of the ball. If Necmi Tur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şafak Temizer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdoğan Askeroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Hikmet Vuralhan kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Yavuz Selim Turatekin got in the 34th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Ercan Maksut. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-1. Üzeyir Yağızalp charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Üzeyir Yağızalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes 1925 GÖZTEPE got a freekick which was hit by Üzeyir Yağızalp. Aral Erguvan kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes 1925 GÖZTEPE got a freekick which was hit by Arif Burak Sargın. Necmi Tur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ercan Maksut read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Necmi Tur made a kick off. Hikmet Vuralhan thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ercan Maksut, a very annoying self made goal in the 53rd minute which led to 2-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ibradi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 57th minute. Penalty! Ercan Maksut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Necmi Tur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ibradi's Necmi Tur got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Üzeyir Yağızalp got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Necmi Tur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cafer Muren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cafer Muren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ercan Maksut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Şafak Temizer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erdoğan Askeroğlu in the 93rd minute of play. If Erdoğan Askeroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
