Serafim Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Tolga Akdemir in the 16th minute of play. sahinspor's Alptuğ Uludoğan got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. McLarens's Kudret Kumukbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Acha in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Ayberk Şafak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. McLarens's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave sahinspor the free kick. After 22 played minutes McLarens got a freekick which was hit by Ayberk Şafak. In the 23rd match minute, McLarens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feyyaz Visali to maneuver through the defense. Abdullatif Engintalays short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Kudret Kumukbay to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 37 minutes into the match, McLarens's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Acha came free, but Kudret Kumukbay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kudret Kumukbay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdullatif Engintalay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Kudret Kumukbay managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when sahinspor's Alptuğ Uludoğan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 44 minutes into the game, Herminio Acha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Kudret Kumukbay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Alptuğ Uludoğan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cevher Arslangiray made a kick off. Kudret Kumukbay came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by sahinspor's Gani Acartürk. But to his dismay, Gani Acartürk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Serafim Cruz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 66 minutes into the match, sahinspor's goalkeeper Serafim Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Tolga Akdemir. Abdullatif Engintalay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kudret Kumukbay having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in McLarens's zone, Alptuğ Uludoğan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kudret Kumukbay came out of the goal and Alptuğ Uludoğan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, sahinspor's Abdullatif Engintalay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kudret Kumukbay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 81 played minutes McLarens got a freekick which was hit by Feyyaz Visali. Herminio Acha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Kudret Kumukbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kudret Kumukbay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Acha in the 86th minute of the match. Abdullatif Engintalay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kudret Kumukbay having to interfere. Kudret Kumukbay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdullatif Engintalay, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. sahinspor fully deserved thier win.
