In the 44th minute Alp Cangiray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hartz Trillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alp Cangiray to strike the kick off in the second half. When Mustafa Orhan Osman came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Akhisar spor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Orhan Osman couldn't finish the play. Abdulkadir Tunçaslan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Abdulkadir Tunçaslan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ercüment Kudsi charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some careless play in the Akhisar spor defense, Atacan Seciye kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hartz Trillo. The Akhisar spor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hartz Trillo should have stopped the shot. Akhisar spor's Lance Couzens got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
