In the 2nd minute, Durmuş Eskici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DEV BİR TÜRK's Merih Ongul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamdullah Yetkiner in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Ediz Demircioğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DEV BİR TÜRK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After a rather tough play, DEV BİR TÜRK's Vatan Acaralp got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ediz Demircioğlu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Halit Fahri Okcan came out and tried to block the shot, but Ediz Demircioğlu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 22nd minute. Hamdullah Yetkiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Hamdullah Yetkiner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, DEV BİR TÜRK's goal looked a bit too open when Hamdullah Yetkiner came free, but Merih Ongul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vatan Acaralp scored 3-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Halit Fahri Okcan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hamdullah Yetkiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erhun Tuğaltan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merih Ongul having to interfere. After 40 played minutes DEV BİR TÜRK got a freekick which was hit by Durmuş Eskici. After 45 minutes, Özkan Şükür mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DEV BİR TÜRK and the Ordu players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to DEV BİR TÜRK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Özkan Şükür hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Altan Oğuzata in the 49th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Merih Ongul's left hand side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Ordu's Halit Fahri Okcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ediz Demircioğlu in the 56th minute of play. DEV BİR TÜRK's Seyfi Memduh got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd minute Seyfi Memduh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halit Fahri Okcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halit Fahri Okcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seyfi Memduh in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the DEV BİR TÜRK defense, Mücahit Ozansu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Merih Ongul. The DEV BİR TÜRK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Merih Ongul should have stopped the shot. Hamdullah Yetkiner hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Ediz Demircioğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th match minute, Ordu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özcan Umur to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Ediz Demircioğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Halit Fahri Okcan was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mithat Olgun during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Ordu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mithat Olgun to maneuver through the defense. 4-1 became the score in the 83rd minute when Seyfi Memduh elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Ordu defense, Seyfi Memduh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Halit Fahri Okcan. The Ordu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Halit Fahri Okcan should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamdullah Yetkiner in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Merih Ongul saved DEV BİR TÜRK from getting behind. If Seyfi Memduh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The DEV BİR TÜRK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
