Melih Cevdet Sonay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdurrahim Baykara in the 5th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Delice got a freekick which was hit by Seyhun Özender. When Abdurrahim Baykara came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Incirli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdurrahim Baykara couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute, Hakkı Onur Atik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdurrahim Baykara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melih Cevdet Sonay having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Incirli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Ceyhan Perkin to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 21 minutes, Ahmet Efe Saik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Efe Saik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yaşar Batüralp charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yaşar Batüralp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Incirli booed when Delice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaşar Batüralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa Orhan Taceddin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Hurşit Keçeli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Efe Saik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koray Altın having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erdeniz Özaktuğ in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Koray Altın prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erdeniz Özaktuğ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Incirli's zone, Ahmet Efe Saik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Koray Altın came out of the goal and Ahmet Efe Saik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hurşit Keçeli made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Erdeniz Özaktuğ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erdeniz Özaktuğ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erdeniz Özaktuğ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Koray Altın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erdeniz Özaktuğ in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Koray Altın saved Incirli from getting behind. Incirli's Abdurrahim Baykara got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Abdurrahim Baykara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Incirli's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdurrahim Baykara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melih Cevdet Sonay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hurşit Keçeli in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melih Cevdet Sonay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melih Cevdet Sonay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hurşit Keçeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdurrahim Baykara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Ahmet Efe Saik came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Delice fans jumped to their feet. Koray Altın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erdeniz Özaktuğ in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Delice's goal looked a bit too open when Hurşit Keçeli came free, but Melih Cevdet Sonay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
