Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Melih Cevdet Onultan got the match started through his kick off. Tatvanspor's Vatan Sidam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Necmi Çağili in the 5th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Acun Kirtekin during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Sakaryaspor5425 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acun Kirtekin to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Melih Cevdet Onultan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Oğuzer Akdiken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oğuzer Akdiken kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Tatvanspor booed when Sakaryaspor5425 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Okan Şemsifer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Ömür Andaç took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ataol Zihni. Sakaryaspor5425's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Demirhan Tekrim came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Tatvanspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demirhan Tekrim couldn't finish the play. After 33 minutes, Mithat Uraltay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tatvanspor and the Sakaryaspor5425 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Tatvanspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mithat Uraltay to maneuver through the defense. Tatvanspor's Vatan Sidam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Tatvanspor from getting a goal against them. Melih Cevdet Onultan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ataol Zihni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melih Cevdet Onultan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuzer Akdiken in the 48th minute of play forced Tatvanspor's goalkeeper Vatan Sidam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oğuzer Akdiken to make the kick off. Vatan Sidam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuzer Akdiken in the 52nd minute of play. Mithat Uraltay hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The corner ended in Karahan Sönmez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tatvanspor's Vatan Sidam did a great save. Vatan Sidam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuzer Akdiken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gert Österlund kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Melih Cevdet Onultan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataol Zihni having to interfere. Melih Cevdet Onultan took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ataol Zihni. Ataol Zihni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Sakaryaspor5425 getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Necmi Çağili hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuzer Akdiken in the 83rd minute of play forced Tatvanspor's goalkeeper Vatan Sidam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Baykam Şengil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tatvanspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baykam Şengil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ataol Zihni made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Melih Cevdet Onultan sent off a good shot on target. Tatvanspor's Ali Haydar Kadi got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tatvanspor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
