Ulus's Kamuran Orcun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babür Şıran in the 13th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Tanju Uzsan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kamuran Orcun was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 26 minutes, Babür Şıran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ANTALYA SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Babür Şıran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bora Han Tutkun's late challenge caught a ANTALYA SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bora Han Tutkun helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, Ulus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bora Han Tutkun to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 36 minutes, Tanju Uzsan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ANTALYA SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanju Uzsan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Babür Şıran notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ulus's Kamuran Orcun. Kamuran Orcun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tolga Semdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eşref Canıtez having to interfere. After the first half ANTALYA SK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Babür Şıran made a kick off. In the 51st minute Babür Şıran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamuran Orcun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Babür Şıran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kamuran Orcun having to interfere. Kamuran Orcun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cankut Uma, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Sermet Özdel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eşref Canıtez having to interfere. With a little luck, Ulus's Kamuran Orcun got control of the ball when Tanju Uzsan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eşref Canıtez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ataman Sara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eşref Canıtez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolga Semdin in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Ataman Sara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ulus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Kamuran Orcun was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Babür Şıran capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Babür Şıran really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Kamuran Orcun made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Muharrem İlkan sent off a good shot on target. If Akil Sertaç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tanju Uzsan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Kamuran Orcun made a huge save. In the 81st minute, ANTALYA SK's Ruhi İlgi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kamuran Orcun. Kamuran Orcun yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Doruk Heybetli hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Tanju Uzsan struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Kamuran Orcun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ANTALYA SK. 94 minutes into the game, Ruhi İlgi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ANTALYA SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ulus the free kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ANTALYA SK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
