The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehmet Arif Orun got free with Sezgin Cihansah in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the game, GALATASARAY's Erenay Sanak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rudy Deschrijver made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 20 played minutes Inegöl got a freekick which was hit by Rasim Gündoğan. The supporters of Inegöl booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kıvanç Şanlı didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Mehmet Arif Orun put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sezgin Cihansah. 30 minutes into the game, one of GALATASARAY:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sezgin Cihansah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to GALATASARAY getting a freekick after 70 minutes play.
