Melih Cevdet Onultan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Eşref Canıtez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruhi İlgi's late challenge caught a Tatvanspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruhi İlgi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ANTALYA SK getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ruhi İlgi hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the game, Muharrem İlkan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vatan Sidam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th match minute, ANTALYA SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanju Uzsan to maneuver through the defense. Baykam Şengil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ANTALYA SK's Doruk Heybetli got a free kick in the 19th minute. Akil Sertaç hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Vatan Sidam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanju Uzsan in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Babür Şıran in the 36th minute of play forced Tatvanspor's goalkeeper Vatan Sidam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 played minutes ANTALYA SK got a freekick which was hit by Muharrem İlkan. Vatan Sidam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tanju Uzsan in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanju Uzsan in the 42nd minute of play forced Tatvanspor's goalkeeper Vatan Sidam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half ANTALYA SK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melih Cevdet Onultan to strike the kick off in the second half. Eşref Canıtez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demirhan Tekrim in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, ANTALYA SK's Cankut Uma got a free kick in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ANTALYA SK's zone, Melih Cevdet Onultan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eşref Canıtez came out of the goal and Melih Cevdet Onultan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baykam Şengil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eşref Canıtez having to interfere. Tanju Uzsans short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Vatan Sidam to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 73 minutes into the game, Babür Şıran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ANTALYA SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tatvanspor the free kick. After a rather tough play, ANTALYA SK's Babür Şıran got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Tanju Uzsan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Vatan Sidam when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vatan Sidam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babür Şıran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vatan Sidam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babür Şıran in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, Tatvanspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batu Cem Sadiray to maneuver through the defense. Vatan Sidam acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Muhittin Erdönmez. Vatan Sidam was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Ruhi İlgi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ruhi İlgi really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Batu Cem Sadiray kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Muhittin Erdönmez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ANTALYA SK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
