Hızır Yoran made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Haluk Yelmen sent off a good shot on target. ★Kastamonu★'s Eyüp Şömel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reşat Rezzak in the 33rd minute of play. Reşat Rezzak struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Eyüp Şömel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erzurumspor SK. Reşat Rezzak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eyüp Şömel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Eyüp Şömel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reşat Rezzak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aktaç Taykut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hızır Yoran having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reşat Rezzak to make the kick off. Hızır Yoran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aktaç Taykut, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Hızır Yoran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haluk Yelmen in the 56th minute of the match. When Ertan Kayan fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ★Kastamonu★'s protests and gave Ertan Kayan a yellow card for diving instead. Eyüp Şömel made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Reşat Rezzak sent off a good shot on target. Eyüp Şömel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reşat Rezzak in the 63rd minute. In the 67th minute Haluk Yelmen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hızır Yoran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İrfan Akbuğ kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Yetkin Açıkalın sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Erzurumspor SK's Hızır Yoran didn't even have to move. The Erzurumspor SK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
